Oscar Costumes
If you love movie costumes, you won't want to miss the Hollywood Reporter's coverage of the current costume scene. They feature several online slide shows, and a video interview with the key designers competing for this year's Oscars.

After seeing these, can you guess how current fashions might be influenced by the top movie costumes? Each year fashion derives some inspiration from the movie scene. What do you think will cross-over to influence designers today? The Hitchcock era is easy to see restyled for today, since it is close to the Mad Men look. Anna Karenina borrows so much from the Dior New Look years, so again, this has a strong 50's style. But I personally would love to see more of the Les Miserable cut and silhouette, it's a great look!
